The purpose of the CVB is to provide for the encouragement, solicitation, promotion, procurement and servicing of conventions, conferences, seminars, and the development of tourism through the attraction of visitors to Ringgold, Georgia; to foster better public understanding on the part of the individuals and businesses in Ringgold, Georgia of the importance of the convention and visitor industry to the local economy; to effect cooperation between businesses and industries servicing visitors, conventions, and other meetings; to receive and disburse public funds derived from the taxes imposed by local government in accordance with contractual or other arrangements with such government and to receive and disburse private funds for the purposes of the CVB.
The Convention and Visitors Bureau meets on the 1st Tuesday of each month at Ringgold City Hall at 5:30 p.m.
